What Is Landfill Diversion?
At concerts at Red Hat Amphitheater, thousands of aluminum cans are used every single night.
Instead of letting those cans head to the landfill, volunteers with The Great Raleigh Cleanup collect and separate recyclable aluminum throughout the event.
The result?
Less waste.
More recycling.
More community impact.
And through partnerships like this, we’re able to help support paid opportunities through our Workforce program.
